In 1998, a new collaboration between individual European hotel chains was initiated.
Pleasant Hotels Europe (PHE) is the first and only one of its kind.

Today, PHE consists of six hotel chains in the following countries: Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands. Together, the partnership offers more than 470 hotels.

The partnership is based on our mutual ideas of high standard, good service, a personal atmosphere, delicious food and great hospitality.

PHE publishes an annual guide introducing all six hotel chains, including descriptions, facilities and prices.

As an extra service, most of the PHE members offer their guests the possibility of redeeming gift vouchers bought from other hotel chains in the partnership. Gift vouchers purchased from Danske Kroer & Hoteller can be used at Petit Hotel, Ringhotels and Idyll Hotels. Gift vouchers purchased from Denmark's BILLETNET system must be exchanged at the Danske Kroer & Hoteller secretariat before they can be used abroad.
